Publication Frequency

Starting from 2025, due to the increasing number of manuscript submissions, Takuana journal has increased its publication frequency from biannual (April and October) to quarterly. The journal is now published four times a year according to the following schedule:

  • Vol. 04 No. 1: April-June
  • Vol. 04 No. 2: July-September
  • Vol. 04 No. 3: October-December
  • Vol. 04 No. 4: January-March

Full paper (original research and review articles)

Open Access Policy

Takuana is a fully open-access journal and freely accessible online upon publication. Readers and institutions can read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts without seeking prior permission from the publisher or authors. Additionally, under the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license, users are free to share, copy, redistribute, and adapt the work for non-commercial purposes, as long as proper credit is given to the original author(s) and source, and any derivative works are distributed under the same license. Screening for Plagiarism

Plagiarism screening will be conducted by Editor in chief using Turnitin. Please pay attention that every published article should not exceed a 20% similarity Score. See Takuana Plagiarism Policies

Reference Management

Starting from Volume 4 Issue 2, Takuana fully uses the APA 7th edition for both citations and references. Manuscripts which do not comply with the format will be immediately rejected. Author(s) required to use reference management (Zotero, Mendeley, etc). See our Reference Management Guidelines

Publication/Article Processing Charge

Takuana implements a publication fee of IDR 300.000 (Indonesian Rupiah) for articles that are accepted for publication. This fee applies as all articles will be available as open access. There will be no charge for article submission for review. See Takuana Article Processing Charge
